Open Water Certification Class

It all begins when you find something you love. You want to protect it, keep it out of harms way. But just wanting is never enough, what do you do?

First, you share with others what you love. In order to make this a reality we are working on grants that will fund 6 lucky humans through their Open Water Certification Course right here in Traverse City, MI!

Some items to consider before filling out the application are:

• Can I commit and make it to classes everyday for 7 days straight?

• Will my parents help me make it there and if they cannot is there another way for me to make it?

• Am I fearful of being underwater for long periods of time?

• There is a lengthy test that goes along with passing your Open Water Certification Course.

Our plan is to have the funding in place by early Summer, 2022. In the meantime, we will be accepting applications from people ages 12 - 16 years old to choose the lucky six! Click through here to fill out an application.
