Have you ever forgotten your child’s life jacket? Or, couldn’t get one in time for the beach day? We’ve all been there! Not having your child’s life jacket on a beach day can be a real bummer…
We’re at the beach to have fun and explore! So, to help that happen we’re putting in Life Jacket Libraries around our communities. You have one job, Find the correct fit, wear it, and return it to the library for others to do the same.
So far this year, 2022, there have been 34 documented drownings in the Great Lakes. Primarily, in Lake Michigan. Drownings are preventable, with Life Jackets and putting Life Guards on duty, people can safely enjoy our powerful waters.
