Programs for the classroom

We have developed a few inspiring programs geared towards the younger underwater enthusiasts. The art of Story Telling walks your group though an exciting journey and into a hands on, natural piece of art that they can choose to place wherever their hearts desire. Read on below to see some examples of books and projects.

  • According to ancient legend, all mermaids have a special gemstone that - once found - gives the mermaid her special powers and lets the true color of her tail shine. Come on Tallulah’s journey into the fresh water of the Great Lakes to find her special gemstone.

We will make a Lake Michigan gemstone necklace for all to keep this story close to their heart or give away.

Program takes an hour to complete to fit into your classroom schedule.

  • The Journey of, Who Was Jacques Cousteau, is absolutely perfect for groups ranging from 7-12 years old and older. Not only does it tell the story and timeline of a famous underwater pioneer, it truly shows how his interest grew into a love and further more into a life long career of protecting marine life while showing others this still unknown and mysterious place.

This book program is built to be a week long course for classrooms. That’s 5, 1 hour classes.

We start the class reading, along with discussion. Moving into a project that the kids can keep and take home.
