Snorkel Camp Summer 2024

Last year we rolled out our special 3 and 1 day Eco Snorkel Camp sessions. Since these were so well received we are sticking to this method in 2024!

We pack a LOT into our days and your camper learns about safety, our waters and ecosystems. We get our hands busy building sinkable art that create snorkel trails. We also leave nothing behind, as this is another part of the Mission Blues teaching philosophies.

All campers are required to bring the following supplies daily:

*Well fitting Mask, Fins, & Snorkel

*Set of dry clothes/swimwear and shoes for dry and wet activities.

*Towel and Sunblock

*Healthy, energy packed lunches and refillable water bottle

Highly recommended items to bring include:

*Wetsuit

*Hat/sunglasses

Each day, campers should arrive with a positive attitude. We get busy with team building games and projects immediately after checking in upon arrival. Our days are fun filled, and you will be picking up a tired camper after a day of creating projects, swimming, and outdoor activity!

Mission Blues supplies snacks to keep the energy high but a healthy lunch of what your camper likes best is most welcome as a day in the outdoors burning energy makes for some hungry campers! We need to keep them fueled as they learn about water safety, care for themselves and our lakes, build fish cribs, and many other projects that we then sink and create our own snorkel trails to practice our new skills! Don’t worry, we don’t leave anything under the water that isn’t supposed to be there. Matter of fact, we usually remove plenty of other people’s trash from our great lakes during our day!

Please note, campers need to be comfortable with water before signing up for this program. Swimmers will have the most fun!

Snorkel Camp is $230 for 3 day session and $70 for 1 day sessions. Please read through our registration page for more specific details to each session! Space is limited, reserve your space today!

Here’s what parents have to say about our Snorkel Camp!

“Snorkel camp was a really great experience for my son. Willow was very organized, safety oriented and she had multiple activities for the kids planned everyday. My son learned about our lakes and ways to help sustain and protect them, made art projects daily, built a fish crib, had a lot of time in the water and played on the park equipment. Willow was positive and encouraging with mask, snorkel and fin use, she boosted my son's confidence and now he wants to snorkel all the time to check out what's underwater. She used different techniques to help him learn how to use the equipment like using a paddleboard to help him practice using his fins.

This camp was executed very well, Willow and Molly did an outstanding job. My son was sad when camp ended. We can't wait for snorkel camp next summer.”
